Pataday Once Daily Relief is an over-the-counter ophthalmic solution containing 0.2% olopatadine (equivalent to olopatadine HCl 0.222%), a potent antihistamine originally available by prescription. Designed to temporarily relieve itchy, irritated eyes caused by pollen, ragweed, grass, animal hair, and pet dander, it delivers fast-acting relief in just minutes and provides up to 16 hours of symptom control with just one drop once per day. The formula includes benzalkonium chloride as a preservative and should be stored between 2 °C and 25 °C (36–77 °F).
